The BA/BSc (Hons) Law course involves a rigorous study of the law, in which you will learn both the content of the law and develop sound skills of legal analysis. The programme has been specifically developed to fulfil the needs of students wishing to move into the legal professions, becoming Solicitors or Barristers and who need a qualifying law degree (QLD).
Explore the fundamental principles of law in England and Wales on a qualifying law degree recognised by both the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board.
You will gain solid grounding in the key areas such as legal methods and skills, constitutional law, criminal law and property law. You can also specialise in a range of subjects including family law, media and entertainment law, company law and human rights, depending on your area of interest. Throughout your degree you will learn how to argue a case effectively in court, interview clients and negotiate agreements, benefitting from simulated trials and tribunals in our Moot Court Room.
